Spain’s Costa Brava could be your perfect next spring getaway! There are many reasons why you should consider this charming part of Spain.

Baix Empordà

The Baix Empordà in Catalonia has some of the Costa Brava’s most delightful beaches. Not only is the Baix ideal for a fantastic beach holiday. With its rolling plains, medieval villages and ancient woodland the area is  equally impressing further inland. Whether you want to hike or simply take in the amazing Spanish landscape, there’s always something to see and to do at the Costa Brava.

Flights into Gerona or Barcelona have gotten very affordable today so it only takes a few hours from the United Kingdom.

There are plenty of places where you can stay. The Costa Brava features everything from luxurious hotels to affordable yet nice bed and breakfast stays.
If you love climbing mountains or would like do explore fantastic caves, the coast between Palamós and Begur is the Costa Brava at its most rugged and beautiful with a series of exquisite coves, often sheltered by steep cliffs.

The area around the Playa Fonda is famous for its deep blue waters that are fantastic for snorkelling. If art is your thing you may can go see the Dali Museum in Figueres.

There are also plenty of good camping grounds at the Costa Brava. Here is a list of some of them.

In my opinion, Spain’s Costa Brava has something to offer for everyone and this is why I can highly recommend it to you.
